Purse snatched from a car at Cherry and East
Phyllis Williams stopped to pick up her friend and parked in the back lot of the Vicksburg Railroad Credit Union at Cherry Street and East Avenue.
Neighbor Louis Galloway heard the car alarm and spotted two African American men, both about five feet tall. One was wearing an orange T-shirt and the other was wearing a black T-shirt. They grabbed a purse out of Williams’ car. They then ran east down the alley and south on Frederick towards Marcus Bottom.
Missing is a black and grey Micharl Kors purse.
Police are investigating. The Vicksburg Daily News will update the story as more information becomes available.
