Quincy Casey becomes the second quarterback from JSU to enter the transfer portal

The second Jackson State University quarterback entered the transfer portal on Wednesday under head coach Deion Sanders.
Quincy Casey made an announcement on Wednesday that he is entering the transfer portal and will now be searching for a new team.
“After much thought and prayer, and talking to my family, I have decided to enter my name in the transfer portal,” Quincy wrote in a statement. “I have 4 years of eligibility and look forward to my next opportunity.”
Casey shined in JSU’s last game against Alabama A&M where he threw for 323 yards and four touchdowns. The Memphis native will now be leaving the Tigers’ program in hopes of other bright opportunities.
Casey is now the second quarterback after Jalon Jones to enter the transfer portal as JSU will have many eligible top recruits coming this fall.
