Radar sighting on Christmas Eve confirms imminent Santa visit

Just before 8 p.m on Christmas Eve, 2019, Warren County Sherriff Martin Pace confirmed a rare sighting in the night sky: Santa One.

“He will arrive in a tiny sled pulled by nine tiny reindeer,” the 911 dispatcher announced on a be-on-the-lookout call for Santa. “The one in the front will have a shiny red nose, but don’t be afraid. He won’t hurt you.”

The dispatcher then added that “the subject is not armed or dangerous.”

“We received calls from other agencies east and north of us, same as we do every year,” Pace said.

“We’ve been in contact with the weather service and their radar, and they verified that this is Santa Claus. This is nothing to be alarmed about.”

Pace advised that if you see Santa, take no action; however, all children should go to bed now.
