Ralph Woodrow “Woody” Brumitt, Jr., 1949 – 2021

Ralph Woodrow “Woody” Brumitt, Jr. passed away on Sep. 28 at the age of 72.

Woody was born in Vicksburg, MS on Jan. 28, 1949 to his parents Ralph Woodrow Brumitt, Sr and Faye Hendrix Brumitt.  He was a devout member of First Baptist Church and greatly loved his Sunday school class.  He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy,.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother Elmer Clinton Brumitt and his sister Ellen Brumitt Jones.

He is survived by his wife Debra Dottley Brumitt; sons Aaron Huang and Eric Huang and his sister Rebecca McKinney.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 4 at First Baptist Church.  Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until the hour of the service.  Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Larry Rocconi, Sr., Larry Rocconi, Jr., Will Dottley, Gary Thomas, John Tillman Thomas, Bob Houser, Gray Houser, Andy Anderton, Don Jones, Rick Hanks, John Roquet, Walter Hallberg and James Grant.  Honorary pallbearers will be the members of the Tom Hill Sunday School Class.
