Randy Wright, patriarch of Goldie’s, has passed away.

Randy Wright, patriarch of the Goldie’s Trail Bar-B-Que passed away this morning at Merit Health River Region.

Wright is survived by a loving family who are grieving his loss.

Wright became a part of his uncle Gola Marshall’s business, Goldie’s Trail Bar-B-Que, at a young age. The business was originally on Washington Street where the Circle K gas station now sits. Gola Marshall leased the former Rosette Cafe building from L. C. Latham in 1960. They moved across the street in 1983 and in 2006 onto the South Frontage Road where they now sit.
