Rankin County seizes $14 million worth of cocaine

Two men have been arrested after Rankin County Interdiction Team seized 213 pounds of cocaine on Friday.

Freddy Gutierrez and Gabriel Manuel were stopped for a traffic violation. Nervous behavior led to the deputy asking for consent to search the passenger bus.

During the search, 20 wrapped packages were determined to be 213 pounds of cocaine with a cash value of $14  million.

Both men were arrested and transported to Rankin County Adult Detention Center.
