Rawlings, accused of kidnapping two Warren County children, given bond

Eric Rawlings, who is under suspicion for the kidnapping of two young children from Vicksburg, appeared in court on Thursday. Judge Angela Carpenter set his bond at $400,000.

On Sunday, 3-year-old Tamerikaya Rawlings and 5-year-old Benyaaqob Rawlings were reported missing from Warren County. Authorities believed that the children were with Eric Rawlings Jr. and Ronneisha Evans.

In a Facebook Post, the Slidell Police Department stated they recovered the two children. Ronneisha Evans was taken into custody but Rawlings remained at large.

On Wednesday, according to the Slidell Police Department, Rawlings turned himself in.

Rawlings is charged with two counts of kidnapping. Rawlings was also given an $870 capias fine for old warrants.
