Raymond boy’s and girl’s basketball team defeated Forest Hill on Friday
Raymond High School boy’s and girl’s basketball team knocked off Forest Hill at home on Friday.
The Lady Rangers got a 54-32 win with Leah Sutton leading the team with 25 points. Julia Robinson came in clutch with 14 points and Markaylah Anderson dropped 12 in the victory.
The boys pulled off a 65-50 win later on in the night with help of Tremaine Dixon who scored 27 points, followed by Jabarie Robinson who added 20. Larry Lee led the Rangers in rebounds by coming down with eight to keep Raymond steady on defense.
The boys will play in the King Cotton Classic in Pine Bluff, Arkansas on Dec. 27-29.
