On Friday, June 24, the JACC Auxiliary of Copiah County will be hosting a Red White and Barbeque street party.

Roughly an hour drive from Vicksburg, the party will take place in downtown Crystal Springs on E. Railroad Avenue. The event begins at 6:30 p.m. and will last until 10 p.m. This is the Junior Auxiliary’s twentieth annual street party.

Barbeque plates will be available for presale from the Crooked Letter Kitchen. The meal includes a pulled pork sandwich, chips, mac and cheese, a cookie and water. There are limited plates available for walk ups. Meals can be purchased in advance from any JACC member for twelve dollars each and can be picked up between 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. All proceeds benefit the local community. If you are unsure of where to locate a member of the Junior Auxiliary, you can reach out in a message through their facebook page here. Other treats available will include ice cream and Italian ice.

Live music will be performed by Soulshout. Children are invited to enjoy games and activities in the Kid’s Corner. In addition to a night of live music, food, and entertainment, there will be a silent auction and a 50/50 raffle. Tickets for the raffle can be purchased in advance for 1 dollar each from Auxiliary members. They can also be purchased on the night of the event at the silent auction tent.

The Mississippi Blood Services will also be present for blood donations before and during the street party between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.
