Redwood Elementary students chose to pay tribute to the first responders and victims of 9/11 by showcasing the pinwheels made by the sixth-grade class.

Sixth graders, Majestye Blake and Cason Ashley, spoke with VDN about their understanding and reflections on that significant day, forever etched in our nation’s history.

Blake and Ashley were not yet born, but were able to learn about the events, leading the sixth-grade class to express their condolences.
