Reed hit his eighth home run of the season on Saturday

Former Warren Central High School baseball player Vantrel Reed hit a home run for Hinds Community College on Saturday.

In game two, Reed’s home run helped the Eagles defeat Northwest Mississippi CC 14-7. Hinds CC also won 12-2 in game one.

Reed finished this weekend with a total of three hits along with five RBIs. The home run was Reed’s eighth of the year.
