For a $5 donation, the chili tasting public can enjoy all you can eat samples from your favorite teams. Judging will take place at 1:30 pm and prizes for first, second and third place will be awarded shortly afterward. Music will also play a role in the mix with 80’s and 90’s tribute band “Danger Room” performing from 11:30am till 1:30pm.The Warren County Children’s Shelter is funded through several local and state agencies including the Warren County Board of Supervisors and the United Way, but still relies heavily on private contributions to manage the 24 hour emergency shelter for abused, neglected, runaway, and homeless children. The Warren County Children’s Shelter opened in 1991 in response to public requests.The public is invited to attend and/or participate. Currently over 20 cooking squads have committed to the event consisting of area corporate teams, public service organizations and numerous individual teams.
