Republican primary election runoff to take place Tuesday

The Republican primary election runoffs are set for this Tuesday, June 28 to decide the District 2, 3 and 4 congressional seats.
Polls will open on Tuesday at 7 a.m. and voters must be in line by 7 p.m. to cast their ballots.
Voters that participated in the Democratic primary cannot vote in the Republican runoff. If you did not vote in either primary on June 7, you can cast a vote on Tuesday.
Brian Flowers led the Republican primary with 43% of the vote, followed by Ronald Eller with 32%. Incumbent Congressman Bennie Thompson swept the Democratic primary with 96% of the vote.
