Early morning house fire in Redwood

Warren County Fire Services responded to a residential structure fire this morning at around 4 a.m. at 6080 Highway 3.

Culkin Engines 202 (Redwood) and 209 (Tanker) were deployed to battle the blaze. Firefighters from across the county spent approximately 3 hours on the fire scene. The remains will continue to smoke for the next couple of days.

According to Northeast Fire Chief Shane Garrard, the former occupants of the home had moved out of the rental property recently. The cause and origin of the fire remains under investigation.
