Residents invited to weigh in on Warren County and Vicksburg budgets

Two public budget hearings have been announced for the coming week.

Tomorrow, Sept. 3, at 9 a.m., the Warren County Board of Supervisors present their budget for 2020 in a meeting in the Warren County Courthouse (1009 Cherry St.) in the third floor board meeting room. The proposed county budget is $36.8 million.

Thursday, Sept. 5, at 5:30 p.m., the City of Vicksburg presents its fiscal year 2020 budget at the Robert M. Walker Building (1415 Walnut St.). The proposed city budget is $29 million, which includes raises for city employees.
