Restaurant Review: Wingo’s by Bethany Claire Young

Hey everybody! It’s been a while. I stopped reviewing food and lost 60 lbs. Yay me! However, that may have changed tonight after the meal i just had.
Picture this, it’s 9:30. You’ve been on the go, all day. You’re tired and don’t want to cook dinner, so you check door dash for the first time in two years.
You think to yourself, “What’s this? Wingo’s??” You order. You pick the burger and wings combo. Your sister-in-law orders the crispy chicken sandwich meal. You wait patiently, then your food arrives.
You open the slightly underwhelming packaging, and you’re not super impressed. I mean, who’s really concerned about presentation at 9:30 p.m. anyways?
You add your condiments to your burger, and take a bite. Your eyes widen. Your heart races. You take a deep breath. Surely you’re just overreacting.
You take another bite, and it’s purely magical. It’s a perfect medium rare burger, seasoned and juicy as can be. It’s at this point you find yourself halfway into a burger, covered in ketchup. You realize your sister-in-law has been a witness to this war crime you’ve committed on this burger.
This was my experience tonight, and I was stunned. The prices were so low, so I didn’t expect anything great. I’ll tell you that Wingo’s is about to become a staple in this household.
After I finished that violent display on the burger, I asked for a bite of my sister’s food. Her chicken strips were juicy, hot, crispy, fresh, delicious, and borderline illegal because there is no reason that food should be that good.
I had to call my mom just to brag about how shocked and impressed I was. I truly didn’t have high expectations, but Wingo’s was a 10/10 in my book. I highly recommend Wingo’s to anybody looking for fast and delicious food.
