Riggs is on the adventure of a lifetime

Jeff Riggs has had a lifetime of adventures that have the makings of several great books. The semi-retired thrill-seeker is now checking another adventure off of his bucket list.
Riggs began his hike of the Appalachian Trail on May 2, documenting his travels on YouTube and Facebook, while using his journey to raise awareness and money for causes he is passionate about.
Riggs retired from both the military and law enforcement almost 4 years ago. However, he has remained active and involved in his community by becoming a member of the Culkin Fire Department and some part time work with Mississippi Emergency Management.
You can follow along with his journey on his YouTube channel and aid in one of the causes he supports, The Warrior Bonfire Program, by supporting him at GoFundMe.
We will continue to update Riggs’ journey and will be sitting down with him to hear more on his adventure upon his return. Many hikers attempt this journey to complete the 2100 mile hike which normally takes five to seven months to complete. We wish Jeff the best on his adventure.
