Riley Road home destroyed by fire

A Warren County home was destroyed in a blaze early Sunday morning.

First responders were dispatched to Riley Road at 12:40 a.m. in response to a fully engulfed structure fire.

A passer-by on Interstate 20 saw the flames and notified Vicksburg, Warren 911. Vicksburg Police and Warren County Deputies responded and attempted to locate the exact location of the blaze.

Warren County Deputy Dusty Keyes located the house at 830 Riley Road, behind Circle K on Highway 61 North.

Vicksburg Fire Rescue and a Fire Medic Unit responded along with Culkin Engines 205, 209 and Bovina Engine 409.

The home was totally destroyed along with a vehicle that was under the home’s carport.

There were no injuries reported as a result of the fire.
