Rising senior Floyd Davenport dominated in both football and baseball for WC

Warren Central High School athlete Floyd Davenport dominated in both football and baseball in the 2020-2021 school year.

During Davenport’s football season, he supplied the Vikings with 67 tackles, aiding WC to reach the the second round of the playoffs. With Davenport’s skills on the field, the Vikings were able to achieve a 9-3 record under Head Coach Josh Morgan.

Davenport also dominated at the plate for WC’s baseball team where he had a .339 batting average. He racked up eight RBIs as the Vikings made it to the first round of the playoffs under Head Coach Randy Broome.

Davenport has wrapped up his junior season and all eyes will be on him for his upcoming senior season.
