Robbery and murder suspect faces the judge

Andre Walker heads to the courtroom to face Judge Angela Carpenter.

Walker will be charged locally for robbing the Quick Mart on Washington Street yesterday morning.

During his interrogation, the subject of his missing Louisiana girlfriend came up. Vicksburg Police Department investigators listened to Walker give the address where they could find her.

Farmerville La., law enforcement went to that address and found the lifeless body of 35- year-old Maria Cardin.

Walker will be charged with second degree murder in that case.
