Robert Burton, 1967 – 2020

Robert Burton passed away on Tuesday, May 25, 2020. He was 53 years of age.

Robert was a resident of the Eagle Lake Community. Robert enjoyed fishing, hunting and most especially frog gigging. He had a tremendous sense of humor which was only exceeded by his giving nature in helping others.

He is survived by his, wife Alexis Faust Burton. He is also survived by six children including sons Lance Burton, Taylor Burton, Hunter Burton and Brandon Burton, and daughters Katelyn Burton and Kimberly Burton; parents, Earl and Diane Wallace of Vicksburg and William Grady and Clara Burton of Forsythe, Georgia; one sister, Renee Adcock (Thomas Alvin Adcock); nieces Emily (Shane Rollison) and Catherine Adcock; and nephew, Austin Adcock. He is also survived by a host of family and friends.

He was preceded in death by grandmothers Velma Pitts, Dorothy Wallace and Margaret Curtis.

Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Friday, May 29, at Glenwood Funeral Home with a service at 11 a.m. conducted by Michael Paul Sanderford.

Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Alvin Adcock, Austin Adcock, James Wells, Tommy McKinney, J.J.Jolley and Shannon Tarver

Food and fellowship following services at 1858 Lakeside Drive in Lake Park Estates.
