Rosie Ann Mitchell, 1950-2021

Rosie Ann Mitchell, 70, passed away on October 13, 2021. She was born on December 16, 1950. She was born in Philadelphia, MS.

Rosie was a member of the Mississippi Band of Choctow Indians.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Johney Edwards Mitchell, Sr.; and parents, Easlen Lewis and Rosie John Lewis.

She is survived by her sons, Johney Edward Mitchell, Jr., Billy Wayne Mitchell and Jimmy Allen Mitchell; sister, Addie Love; grandchildren, Collier Elizabeth Mitchell, Jimmy Allen Mitchell II; two step-granddaughters, De’Anna Hill and Emily Litton; step great-grandchildren, Anne-Bryliegh Litton, Jace Litton, Everleigh Litton and Stratton Downs.

A visitation will be held at Glenwood Funeral Home in Rolling Fork on October 16, 2021 from 9:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. A funeral service will follow.

Pallbearers will be Tom Price, Buddy Fortner, Charlie Peeples, Ricky McCorkle, David Jones, George Kent, and Dusty Barnes.
