Rumors swirl of a Starbucks store opening soon in Vicksburg

Is Starbucks opening a Vicksburg location?

During the Sept. 5 hearing on the city budget, Vicksburg Mayor George Flaggs, Jr. stated that Starbucks was investing some $800,000 into a project this year.

Last February, the Vicksburg Daily News received word from a trusted source of plans for a location on Halls Ferry Road in what is now a closed Regions bank branch.
