Ruptured gas line at Egan and Washington

Construction crews working on the new Dollar Store in Vicksburg ruptured a gas line near the intersection of Egan Avenue and Washington Street on Saturday afternoon.

Workers from the Vicksburg Gas Department and firefighters are en route.

Police Chief Milton Moore is on the scene and is requesting everyone use caution in the area.

If you have city gas service at your business or residence, you may experience an outage as a result of this line break.
