Sarah Louise Heath, 1932 – 2021

Mrs. Heath was born October 18, 1931, to Frank Eugene and Rosa lee Mooney Waren. She grew up in Grace and was a telephone operator for BellSouth for several years.

In January of 1955, she married T.A. Heath and they were married for 57 years. They made their home in Onward and later Rolling Fork, where she saw after many children in the community.

She was a member of Rolling Fork United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Heath was a lover of books, the outdoors, and plants, an avid seamstress, and loved to cook and bake for others.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Malcolm and Pat Waren and a sister-in-law Helen Waren.

She is survived by her daughters, Lynn Newman (Jim) of Rolling Fork, and Lea Heath of Vicksburg; son, Kelly Heath (Glynda) of Clinton; grandchildren, Leslie Dees (Paul) of Kosciusko, Lisa Reed (Matt) of Madison, Robbie, Grant, and Glyn Heath, all of Clinton; great-granddaughters, Landry Holland of Madison and Lorelei Dees of Kosciusko; a sister-in-law, Betty Jo Heath of Onward; several nieces and nephews; and numerous children she cared for in the community.

Pallbearers are Paul Dees, Robbie, Grant, and Glyn Heath, Phil Kerr, Patrick Pope, Matt Reed, and Grey Windham.

Honorary pallbearers are Frank Corban, Paul Hollis, Billy Johnson, Wayne Kerr, Jim Linville, Deanie Miller, Dalton Ross, James Ross and Charles Stephenson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Rolling Fork United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 236, Rolling Fork, MS 39159.

The family asks those attending to use social distancing protocols and to wear a face covering.
