Saturday morning shooting shuts down Waffle House

The Waffle House on Warrenton Road in Vicksburg was the site of a shooting early Saturday morning.
Vicksburg police officers responded to a disturbance at the restaurant at 2:06 a.m. Saturday.
The security guard reported that two females were causing disturbance over some cold food. The females were told they had to leave, and the guard escorted them out.
Once outside, the females tried to assault him and he used his pepper spray in defense. At that time an unknown male shot at the guard three times, hitting a 2012 Toyota Camry parked in front of the store, and the guard fired two shots back.
There were three bullet holes in the Toyota.
The Waffle House has been shut down until further notice.
