Savor the flavor at Elks Lodge’s bar-b-cue cookoff competition on March 11
Get ready for a sizzling event on March 11 at the Elks Lodge – a bar-b-cue cookoff competition featuring brisket, ribs, chicken, and an additional whole hog cookoff.
For those who want to showcase their cooking skills and compete, the fee is $100 to cook the brisket, ribs, and chicken, with an extra $50 if you want to cook the whole hog. If you prefer to participate in the people’s choice of pulled pork, the fee is $25.
All entries will be judged double-blind, and prize money will be awarded to the winners.
If you’re just looking to enjoy some mouth-watering barbecue, don’t miss the tasting event between 11 am and 2 pm! For only $10 per person, you’ll get to savor the delicious brisket, ribs and chicken. Children 10 and under can eat for free!
All proceeds will be going to two worthy causes – Jacob’s Ladder and Micah’s Mission.
