School district making changes to student meal program beginning June 1

Beginning next week, the Vicksburg-Warren School District lunch delivery program will be making a few changes.

Starting Monday, June 1, meals will be available for pickup on Mondays and Friday from 11 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at the Dana Road and Sherman Avenue elementary schools.

Meals will not be available Friday, July 3.

Bus deliveries will continue their scheduled routes Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

The program, which began in mid-March when schools were closed due to the COVID-19 crisis, will continue through Friday, July 17.
