Seats are limited for History & Coffee in the Morning on May 27
The Southern Heritage Air Foundation will be hosting the May edition of History & Coffee in the Morning on Thursday, May 27 at the Vicksburg-Tallulah Regional Airport from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
This month’s guest speaker will be Mississippi Veteran Billy Byrd, who served in World War II and was on Mt. Surbachi, Iwo Jima when America gained control. Coffee and snacks will be provided, as well as a tour of the Museum. A donation of $5.00 is requested to help cover expenses.
Reservations are required due to COVID-19 restrictions. A LIVE video feed will also stream the event on the Southern Heritage Air Foundation Facebook page for those who are unable to attend in person. Click here to purchase tickets.
History & Coffee in the Morning is a series of small monthly events with only 20 seats available to gather with veterans and history buffs and listen to the stories of World War II from local and regional heroes, their families and from directors of veteran organizations and museums.
