Second of three Covington County escapees captured; one still at large



The Covington County Sheriff’s Office has arrested the second of three inmates who escaped from the Covington County Jail.

Alexander Knight, 32, was arrested in Seminary, Mississippi, Thursday, Jan. 30. Two others at the location were also arrested for hindering prosecution.

One person was injured during the arrests.

Christopher Love, 30, remains at large.

Knight was being held on a charge of commercial burglary. The escape will be added to the previous charge.

Knight, Dillon Parr, 21, and Christopher Love, 30, escaped together through a skylight at the jail around 10:45 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan.15

Authorities captured Parr near Hot Coffee on Jan. 17.

Love, from Hattiesburg, remains at large. He was being held at the jail on a court order.
