Selvy gives Bowmar Elementary teachers a free car wash for Appreciation Week

Vicksburg native and owner of D&T Mobile Express Deonta Selvy Sr. has took it beyond himself to honor the teachers at Bowmar Elementary for Teacher’s Appreciation Week.

Selvy has already been deep washing vehicles for the teachers at the school and will finish with a total of 40 by the end of the week. Selvy was moved to award the teaching staff because of their hard work of teaching and caring for children.

“It’s always a good feeling to give back to the ones that give to yours,” Selvy said. “As a community we all have to stick together and I’m just doing my small part in the world.”

Bowmar Elementary teachers were very grateful for the work and time that Selvy and his employee Jacob Hall put in to give their vehicles a fresh look.

Selvy has a son who attends Bowmar, so it was very easy for him to select a place to give back and the Vicksburg community is happy to have individuals like him who step up and show appreciation to those who deserve it.
