Senior Prep Boys YMCA game results

The Vicksburg YMCA hosted two senior prep boy’s basketball games on Monday night where each team fought hard.

Game 1:

The Gators got a close 34-31 win over the Black Bears.

Gerrick Durrell, Jr. led the Gators with 13 points. Caleb Logan put up eight points and Delvin Thompson, Jr. contributed six. Tayden Brooks scored four and Dominique Brown hit two free throws.

Daylon Washington led the Black Bears with 18 points and MJ Banks added 13.

The hard fought match went back and forth and was determined in the final minute.

Game 2:

The Vikings grabbed a 24-8 win over the Giants with the help of Jordan Taylor who led with nine points.

John Ringold also pitched in eight points, Micah Croome led the Giants with five points and Decatur Morgan scored two points. Cameron Anderson added for points and Landon Anderson scored two. Kendall McKay and Reid Hood each hit a free throw.
