Severe storms headed our way Sunday

The National Weather Service in Jackson is tracking a severe thunderstorm expected to develop this afternoon over our area.

The primary threats from any severe storm will be damaging wind gusts and hail, but tornadoes cannot be ruled out.

At 2 p.m. radar shows the developing storm over Monroe, Louisiana. As the storm tracks east it is expected to grow in intensity.
