Severe weather is in the forecast for Wednesday, including the risk of tornadoes.

Vicksburg and surrounding areas are at a moderate risk for tornadoes Wednesday. Tornados are likely, along with the possibility for golf ball size hail to baseball size, according to the latest from the Jackson Mississippi Weather Forecast Office.

The incoming danger of severe storms has emergency teams preparing to respond to the potential dangers they may encounter. In 2019, several tornadoes hit the Warren County area. Emergency crews will be vigilant as we face the storms ahead.
