Severe weather likely on Wednesday
All forecast models are currently calling for strong to severe weather conditions for our area on Wednesday.
Current models indicate that there could be significant activity in the afternoon to early evening hours.
Warren County Emergency Management Director John Elfer said Monday morning that area residents should now plan for weather conditions that may include strong winds, hail and tornadoes.
On Sunday, the National Weather Service revised Wednesday’s forecast to an almost 100 per cent chance of rainfall that could be up to a half inch of precipitation or more.
This much rain in a short amount of time could and probably will lead to flash flooding. We encourage you to develop plans now to have several methods receive accurate information.
As always, the VDN news team is making preparations to bring you accurate information from our local officials.
