Severe weather likely to include hail and tornado activity
The National Weather Service in Jackson has issued an advisory for significant weather that is due to hit sections of the state on Friday.
The NWS is calling for a significant weather event that is expected to start unfolding around late afternoon on Friday.
Severe storms are expected, including damaging winds of up to 80 miles-per-hour. Baseball-sized hail and tornadoes are also possible.
