The National Weather Service in Jackson has issued an advisory for significant weather that is due to hit sections of the state on Friday.
The NWS is calling for a significant weather event that is expected to start unfolding around late afternoon on Friday.
Severe storms are expected, including damaging winds of up to 80 miles-per-hour. Baseball-sized hail and tornadoes are also possible.
Please use caution and plan ahead in the event of severe weather. We will keep you posted of any changes.
