Sheriff Martin Pace provides an update on road conditions

Warren County Sheriff Martin Pace said that as of 8 p.m., work is ongoing in numerous areas to clear damage from this afternoon’s storm.

Currently Campbell Swamp Road, Dana Road, Nailor Road and Blossom Lane, along with Porters Chapel Road inside the city, remain impassable.

The sheriff said numerous secondary streets and county roads have various forms of debris and trees obstructing traffic.

All County Road personnel remain on duty as of this hour, working with utilities to clear areas once it has been deemed safe for them to work.

Sheriff Pace encouraged residents to use extreme caution in their travels both tonight and tomorrow morning as many obstructions will not be cleared yet.
