Sherrill Wooley Martin Willis passed away on Sunday, August 20 at Merit Health River Region Medical Center. She was 87. Born in Hermanville , MS to the late Lonnie Thurghmond Wooley and Henry Edna Brister Wooley Crapps, she was raised in Warren County. She was a graduate of St. Francis Xavier Academy and attended Hinds Jr. College. She was employed by Leo Boolos Accounting and later May and Company. She retired in 2002 after 43 years in the accounting industry as a CPA. She served as an officer with the National Secretaries Association. She was a member of the Vicksburg Art Association, Vicksburg Foundation for Historical Preservation, and the Ladies Auxiliary at River Region Medical Center. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry B. Martin; a daughter, Sharon Elizabeth Marshall; her brother, Harrell Brister Wooley; a step daughter, Pamela Willis Rials; and a step son, Alvin Edward Willis.

She is survived by her husband, Edward Willis; her son, Darryl Martin (Linda); a step daughter-in-law, Michelle May Willis; five grandchildren: Eric Wayne Martin, Heather Elizabeth Martin, Amanda Marshall Harris, Lisa Marshall Hasty, and Laurie Marshall Reece; step grandchildren, Carl Wesley Willis and Randall Joseph Willis; numerous great-grandchildren; and her brother Ronald Thurghmond Wooley (Carolyn); special friends Julie Ervin and Martha Taylor; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Services will be at 10 AM on Thursday, August 24 at Fisher-Riles Funeral Home at 5000 Indiana Avenue. Visitation will be from 9 AM until the hour of service. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ronald Wooley, Joe Wooley, Thomas Wooley, Brister Wooley, Eric Martin, and Craig Noble.
