GoFundMe set up for Vicksburg crash victim
A GoFundMe has been set up for local resident Sheyanne Friley who suffered devastating injuries in a vehicle wreck on Friday.
“Sheyanne was in a real bad car accident and she is fighting for her life. We are trying to raise money up for her medical bills and surgeries that she may need,” reads the GoFundMe. “She has three small children and a wife that needs our help anything would help at this time or if not please keep her family in your prayers we really need them right now thanks everyone”
At 2:53 p.m. on Friday, Vicksburg Police officers and Vicksburg Fire Department personnel were dispatched to the area of Highway 61 North at the intersection with North Washington Street for a motor vehicle crash involving a Chevrolet pick-up truck and an 18-wheeler.
Friley was in the pick-up and was airlifted to the University of Mississippi Medical Center in severe condition.
“She did have surgery [Monday]. They removed a blood clot on the brain. She is in stable condition as of now, still in the critical care unit but she is stable,” said sister-in-law Nay Hart.
