Shooting at Best Western under investigation

Vicksburg Police are investigating a shooting that occurred shortly before midnight Friday at the Best Western Hotel at 2445 North Frontage Road.

Investigators are reviewing hotel surveillance footage at this time. The entire area is being searched for potential evidence.

The victim was transported to Merit Health River Region by private vehicle. Multiple Vicksburg police and Warren County deputy’s are on scene at the hospital as a large crowd has gathered.
