Police and investigators led by Adam-4, Troy Kimble, marked the crime scene with tape and instructed the many bystanders to move back, stating, “There are casings in this area.” The alley behind Divine Donuts was closed off as was 2nd North from Clay to roughly 60 yards north on 2nd North. Two vehicles appear to have been hit by the gunfire, but the VPD has yet to verify that information. Ward’s towing arrived at the crime scene to tow the two vehicles.
There are no reported injuries related to the event and police are actively investigating the shooting.
This area has had gunfire before
In July of 2019, this exact same home was hit with gunfire. A dispute over a bicycle reportedly caused the individuals involved to argue. The argument was reportedly over until one of the individuals involved was taunted by their significant other over the event. Two people were taken into custody in that shooting, Antwon Jacobs and Xavier Anne Earl. A video of that shooting is in the original story linked in this paragraph.
