Truckers driving on Interstate 20 are getting a nice surprise as they approach the Brabston Road overpass in Bovina.

Friends Dinah Lazor and Karen Allred hand painted a huge yellow sign to thank them for keeping goods flowing during the COVID-19 crisis.

It’s a thank you the truckers can’t miss, and every one of them is honking their appreciation as they go under the bridge.

“They’re doing a wonderful job,” Allred said of the truckers, “being out here every day no matter what the weather.”

Lazor, a retired university professor, and Allred, who is retired from a trucking company she owned, Diversified Transportation, say they were bored and decided to do something good and show their appreciation.
