Silver Alert issued for Yazoo City man

The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation has issued a Silver Alert for Earnest Charles Stiff, 69, of Yazoo City, Mississippi, in Yazoo County.

Stiff is a black male, 5-feet-11-inches tall, weighing 220 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen Wednesday, Aug. 12, at about 10 p.m. in the 400 block of Grady Avenue in Yazoo County.

He was wearing gray jogging pants with a red stripe, a black and silver shirt, and blue casual shoes. He was walking in an unknown direction.

Family members say Stiff suffers from a medical condition that may impair his judgement.
