Sims scored 9 points for the YMCA Gators Tuesday

Vicksburg YMCA basketball player Kaleb Sims had a great game Tuesday against the Giants in a 30-17 win.

Sims scored 9 points to contribute to the Gators victory which  gives the team a 1-2 record. He is one of they youngest players on the team but puts in a lot of hard work which paid off Tuesday.

Sims is a second grader at Vicksburg Intermediate School and is coached by Sherman Logan.

Sims and the Gators will be back in action Tuesday as they will face the Flashes at 6:30 p.m.
