Single vehicle accident on Interstate 20

An SUV headed eastbound on U.S. Interstate 20 reportedly left the roadway and impacted both guardrails before coming to a stop in the median a few miles east of the Bovina exit on Sunday afternoon.

At around 1:30 p.m., responders were dispatched to the scene.  Initial reports indicate that a 42-year-old male was in the SUV at the time of the accident, and that he is uninjured.

Expect delays and use caution in the area.
