Single vehicle accident on Redbone

A silver Chevrolet sedan headed eastbound on Redbone Road  left the roadway just after 1 a.m. Tuesday morning. The vehicle took out several mailboxes before hitting the ditch, flipping over and stopping upside down.

Initial calls to 911 indicated the driver, a 20-year-old male, was outside the vehicle and in and out of consciousness. It is unclear if he had been thrown from the vehicle.

The victim was transported to the hospital by a privately owned vehicle from the scene of the accident. There is no further information on the victim at this time.
