Hundreds of Warren County residents woke up Sunday morning to find their power was out.  Authorities say a single vehicle accident is to blame.

Jeff Riggs with the Warren County Fire Department reported that around 5 a.m., Bovina Fire Department dispatched Engine 402 with Chief Kennedy, Assistant Chief Smith, Captain Weber and Fire Fighter Austin to Tiffentown Road near the Dollar General store for a motor vehicle crash.

Upon arrival, firefighters found power lines down in the roadway along with a crashed pickup truck.  The occupant(s) of the vehicle had left the scene before responders arrived.

Entergy Mississippi reports 513 customers were affected, with the outage stretching along Tiffentown from Tucker Road to Highway 80 and a portion of Warriors Trail.  The estimated restoration time provided is 10:30 a.m., however at the time of this writing the map indicates that power is still out in these areas.
