Single vehicle crash reported on I-20 eastbound near 9-mile marker

A single vehicle collision occurred on I-20 eastbound near the 9-mile marker at approximately 1:30 p.m. A blue sedan veered off the road and settled in the median’s foliage on the left side.

Mississippi Highway Patrol was quick to respond, reaching the scene shortly after the incident. Reports indicate minor injuries resulting from the crash. Fire medics are currently attending to the injured individual.

Traffic on I-20 is gradually moving, albeit slowly, as the left lane is blocked due to the incident. Motorists are advised to approach the area with caution.
