Single Vehicle Crash Sends local woman to the hospital

Warren County Sheriff’s Deputies are investigating a single vehicle crash that occurred on Lee Road near its intersection with Lowry Road at around 8:20 a.m.

A woman driving a Ford Mustang sustained heavy damage and the driver’s side door was lodged against a tree which hampered extrication efforts. The woman was transported to Meritt Health River Region by the Vicksburg Fire Department Fire Medic Unit.

Units from Vicksburg and Warren County Fire Services responded to the scene.

The incident remains under investigation with Deputy Ron Nation leading the investigation on behalf of the Sheriff’s Office.
