Sinkhole repairs on Mt. Alban Road giving way

Repairs on a sinkhole on Mt. Alban Road at Culkin Road in Warren County are giving way in four places due to the extremely heavy rainfall Friday night.

A broken water pipe undermining the roadway caused the sinkhole to open Friday morning. Crews were quickly on the scene to fix the pipe and repair the sinkhole. That fix is now giving way.

Use caution and avoid the area if possible.
